Manager - Transport

The Manager - Transport will assume responsibility for the strategic planning, supervision, control and monitoring of our comprehensive transportation operation. Moreover, he will supervise the administrative functions of the Automobile Workshop including oversight of the vehicle fleet to ensure that service delivery meets transportation requirements at an optimal level by ensuring the maintenance and readiness of our vehicle fleet. His strategic guidance will be instrumental in enhancing internal processes, promoting cost effectiveness, and optimizing efficiency to advance company's business objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in the field of Transport/ Logistics Management or a related field from a recognized University/ Institute.
  • A Masters' Degree in the relevant field accompanied by a Diploma in Automobile Engineering would be advantageous.
  • Minimum 12 years of overall experience including at least 04 years in a managerial role in an organization with an extensive supply chain, managing a sizable vehicle fleet, and possessing exposure to Automobile Engineering, as well as experience in managing both skilled and unskilled labor.
  • Proficiency in IT Literacy.

Preference would be given to applicants residing in close proximity to Seeduwa.
