DEPUTY MANAGER - CUSTOMER RELATIONS

Key Job Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to uphold all corporate image of the company through all business communication of call-centre operation
  • Handling and following up customer feedback through a professional communication model as per company's pre-determined policies and procedures, to provide effective solutions
  • Building a well-trained and professional call-centre team to coordinate and collaborate with internal and external customers professionally to resolve complex customer demands

Profile:

  • Follow strict time-lines in resolving and administrating the inquiries, for the convenience of the customers Facilitate and recommend to the next level of management remedies and process improvements with regard to motor underwriting, claims, auditing and dispute settlements
  • Monitor the day to day performance of the company's customer care operation (including call-centre operation) and make necessary changes for improvement through regularly evaluating statistics Coordinate and liaise with IRCSL and Insurance Ombudsman if the need arises in settling customer concerns Ensure timely resolution and response to complaints in accordance with agreed timescales and company procedures
  • A degree or an equivalent professional qualification from a recognized university in Marketing, Business Management, Communication
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years experience in Customer Relations Management or relevant field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English/Sinhala
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
  • Sound analytical, negotiation, problem solving and collaboration skills
  • Location: Colombo (Head Office)
