ACCOUNTANT
The Accountant position offers a crucial role in overseeing financial operations for international clients. Working alongside a dedicated team, the successful candidate will spearhead financial reporting, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic guidance to clients. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for international clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including timely submission of tax returns, financial reports, and other compliance documents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients. Monitor financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and ensure proper documentation of financial activities.
- Build strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact for accounting-related queries. Provide guidance and support to clients on financial matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide meaningful insights to clients regarding their financial performance. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Assist clients in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted targets and provide regular reports and variance analysis.
- Continuously assess and enhance accounting processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Implement best practices and leverage technology to streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as legal, tax, and finance, to ensure coordinated efforts and provide necessary support to clients.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in accounting principles, regulations, and technology.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, or associated fields. Part/full qualification from a recognized Accounting institution.
- 3-5 years of proven work experience in a similar role.
- Top-notch communication skills.
- Exceptional English language proficiency (Mandatory).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Prior experience in Xero package. The ideal candidate should possess basic IT knowledge & Familiarity with Google Workspace Products is an added advantage (training will be provided).
