Responsibilities
- Project Management and Contract Administration of all the ongoing projects under MGC.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Executive Officer & Technical Director and periodically update the higher management on project status.
- Advise and assist the bidding team by providing necessary technical inputs during proposal submission stage.
- Visit project sites/offices periodically and to participate in the Progress review meetings as necessary, to ensure work complies with the contractual obligations as the Engineer.
- Advise and assist the projects staff on improving the quality of deliverables, technical and client liaison.
- Review the Consultant's monthly progress reports and escalate the issues for the attention of the Technical Director/Chief Executive Officer, if any.
- Assist the Technical Director by providing the required information for Engineer's determination on contractual matters.
- Assist the Technical Director in ensuring consistency and uniform professional standards across all projects.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. (Civil Engineering), Post Graduate Qualification is preferred.
- Chartered Qualification in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of experience
- Excellent Communication Skills including contractual writing
- Conversant with FIDIC conditions of contracts
- Experience working in a technology-enabled collaborative environment preferably with foreign experts.
