Sumithra Garments (Pte) Ltd is a Sri Lankan Manufacturer and Exporter of Woven Apparel Products to the world, with special expertise in Woven Bottoms and Outerwear.
We are in the lookout for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our Product Development Team located at Wattala as:
Pattern Makers / Senior Pattern Makers (Jacket / Pant/ Short)
The Job
- Understand the customer requirements by reading technical specs.
- Develop and grade the patterns.
- Communicate with customers/buying offices. Calculate trims and accessory consumptions.
The Person
- Diploma in Pattern Making or Apparel Manufacturing.
- Previous experience in pattern making under woven sector.
- Having Opti Tex/Tuka or Gerber experience.
- Able to work to deadlines, priorities, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a challenging and results-oriented environment.
- Should be a self-motivated team player with flair for coordinating skills.
Garment Technicians / Senior Garment Technicians (Jacket / Pant/Short)
The Job
- Supervise the production from start to finish & ensure the quality standard.
- Follow up quality Approval process
- Knowledge of washed and garment dying
- Identify the fit on issue and applying the pattern adjustment
- Communicate with customers / buying offices.
The Person
- Diploma's/Degree's in Apparel Related subjects would be an added advantage.
- Previous experience in under woven sector.
- Able to work to deadlines, priorities, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a challenging and results-oriented environment.
- Should be a self-motivated team player with flair for coordinating skills.
