FMF Foods Limited Group of Companies is one of Fiji's most prominent business Groups comprising of six manufacturing facilities.
We are looking for experienced professionals to join us in Fiji Islands in the following role;
Responsibilities:
- Operations Manager - Snacks
Daily coordination, improvement, and execution of all food manufacturing operations i.e. production planning, cost management, quality control and maintenance.
- Work closely with supervisors and maintenance staff to plan work, set targets and make sure the finished products meet quality standards.
- Develop production tracking or quality control systems by analyzing production to detect production problems.
- Lead the development and launch of new snack products, from concept to commercialization.
- Conduct market research and identify emerging snacking trends.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, R&D) to ensure successful product launches.
- Analyze product performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain a deep understanding of food safety and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Possess a deep understanding of snack production, particularly potato chips and extruded snacks (e.g. puffs, curls).
- Have a proven track record of successfully developing and launching new snack products.
- Understand current snacking trends and consumer preferences.
- Have prior experience working in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
- Possess strong knowledge of operational processes within the snacks sector.
- Are a team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Have a "can-do" attitude and a hunger for success.
