SENIOR PROGRAMS OFFICER
REQUIREMENT
- Lead and oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects and programs in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.
- Conduct research, analysis, and needs assessments to inform program development and decision-making processes.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against key milestones and targets.
- Manage project budgets, expenditures, and financial reporting in coordination with the finance team.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to project staff, volunteers, and partners to ensure project success and capacity building.
- Represent Alliance for Peace at meetings, conferences, and events related to program areas and initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of grant proposals, funding applications, and donor reports.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., International Development, Social Sciences, Project Management).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or program coordination, preferably in the nonprofit or development sector.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and priorities effectively.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing projects from conception to completion.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools/software.
