SALES ENGINEER

Join us to pursue a career as a Sales Engineer and you will be responsible for planning & implementing strategies to achieve agreed revenue targets while meeting company goals and objectives. You will also be responsible for making suggestions to boost effectiveness, productivity, and profitability. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their technical requirements.
  • Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product selection.
  • Arranging and carrying out product training and demonstration.
  • Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects.
  • Preparing and making sales presentations to prospective customers.
  • Introducing new Products and solutions based on market needs.

THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • A diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering is essential with at least 2 years' experience in sales of instruments, machinery, and equipment. Industry professionals with a minimum of 3 years' total experience.
  • Should be a dynamic team player with a passion to win.
  • Should possess strong analytical skills and Business development exposure is mandatory.
  • Should be technically sound to handle prospective buyers, meetings with consultants and users, in promoting sales.
  • Exposure in UTILITY/FIRE/INDUSTRIAL markets will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Computer literacy are a must.
  • Excellent PR and the ability to convince a target technical group.
  • Ability to travel extensively on regular customer visits and driving license essential.
