Are you an experienced Accountant with a passion for reporting and analytics?
We are seeking a dedicated individual with experience in Australian Accounting and/or Auditing to join our enthusiastic Boutique Office based in Colombo 05. As the Accountant, you will have a can-do attitude, an attitude with numbers and advance skills in reporting and analysis.
We are an established and Specialized Accounting Firm Based in Melbourne, Australia for Clients in Medical, Franchise and Construction.
Qualifications:
- A recognized Accounting, Finance or Management Degree or equivalent Finance Professional Qualification
- Experience in Finance and preferably a minimum of 2 years
- Experience in working for a BPO Company will be an added advantage
- High level of proficiency in Finance Management, Tax and Audit
- Hands on Accounting experience in the same field will be an advantage
- Ability to handle a team and ensure to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
- Knowledge in Xero, Excel and Macro would be an added advantage
Job Description:
- Bank Reconciliations, Account Receivables, and Payables Management and Processing payroll and fulfilling payroll related statutory obligations
- Preparation and submission of Periodic Returns
- Preparation of Financial Statements and Monthly Accounts to ensure that Profit and Loss Accounts. Balance Sheet and other required reports are prepared accurately
- Budget preparation and management reports preparation based on requirements
- Assist in the preparation of cash flow statements
- Liaising and coordinating with client management in all instances with respect to accounting and client service matters to ensure the effective accomplishment of tasks
- Assisting in computing the tax returns for various entities including companies and trusts
