The company is experiencing a rapid growth in recent years as the country is moving towards sustainable practices of power generation from renewable sources. To support the growth, the company is looking for young and energetic professional to develop and expand the Trading & EPC Business Unit.
Business Unit Head - Solar Division
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth of the trading and EPC business unit.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of professionals to achieve sales targets and profitability.
- Develop and maintain relationship with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers in securing new opportunities.
- Develop techno-commercial proposals for new projects and maintain a pipeline of upcoming projects.
- Lead the negotiation and closing of contracts, ensuring favorable terms and sustainable partnerships.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance and team development of the unit.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across the island to generate leads and monitor progress.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Degree/Diploma in Engineering or similar qualification from a reputed University.
- Added qualification into Sales or Marketing from a recognized institute would be of definite advantage.
- Over 5 years of proven track record technical sales & marketing role within the solar power sector.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent inter-personal, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and drive results independently.
- Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive environmental impact.
