SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - REVENUE
(Foreign Assignment)
We are an Airline with a multicultural work force located in the scenic seas of the Maldives. We are looking for a suitably qualified individual to join our team as a Senior Accountant - Revenue
The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Full qualification in CA/CIMA (UK)/ACCA/CMA.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in revenue accounting in the corporate sector, preferably in the aviation industry or minimum 3 years of experience in the internal audit field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
- Strong interpersonal skills with verbal and email communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques.
The Job Includes:
- Develop monthly revenue analysis reports to compare actual revenue against budgeted figures, identifying variances and investigating underlying causes for discrepancies.
- Aid in IMS and statutory audits, reviewing operational manuals for optimization opportunities, and proposing changes for approval.
- Manage contract registries, ensuring all amendments are tracked and relevant departments are informed of required actions based on registry information.
- Create customized reports and conduct diverse analyses as needed by departments and customers, tailoring information to meet specific requirements.
- Engage in account receivable meetings to strategize and take action on outstanding balances, and conduct proactive customer follow-ups to meet collection targets.
