Electrical Technician (Electrician)
Location: Ekala, Ja-Ela
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic personality with excellent working experience in a similar capacity to be a proud member of our team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment such as motors, transformers, DG, switchgear, Industrial premises lighting, and control systems to ensure their optimal functioning.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems within the cement plant.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures while working with electrical systems to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others.
- Work closely with colleagues from other departments such as maintenance, production, and quality control to achieve common goals and maintain smooth plant operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and repairs performed.
Requirements
- Possession of NVQ level 3 or 4 qualification, or equivalent certification.
- Male candidates under the age of 36 are preferred.
- Demonstrated experience of 2 to 3 years in a relevant field within an industrial environment, with a focus on instrumentation.
- Proficiency in mechanical tasks including welding and grinding is advantageous.
- Willingness to work on a shift basis to support continuous plant operations.
