Head of Quality Assurance

Duties and Responsibilities

Lalan CM (Pvt) Ltd - Unagahadeniya

  • Maintain site Quality Management system.
  • Update and maintain site manuals and SOPS.
  • Implement necessary controls in a timely manner.
  • Act as site document controller.
  • Maintain Quality KPIs and reports.
  • Handle product complaints, analyze, and provide reports.
  • Facilitate proactive solutions for Deviations and design CAPA.
  • Complete CAPA follow-up on time.
  • Manage Audit Management.
  • Oversee Change management.
  • Conduct Risk assessments and mitigation action planning.
  • Take total responsibility for lab testing including RM, PM and FG with GxP exposure.
  • Manage all calibration procedures and keep the instruments calibrated.
  • Participate in Internal audits as a Management Representative (MR) for the QMS.
  • Lead coaching and training for quality and cross-functional teams on QMS tools and subjects.
  • Maintain Data integrity throughout the process.
  • Conduct Validation and qualification activities.
  • Act as Auditee in external audits and regulatory audits.
  • Maintain and fulfill Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety standards.
  • Contribute actively to continuous compliance, improvement, and commitment to these standards.
  • Manage quality team to support business and achieve time-bound actions.
  • Lead management reviews in QMS point of view.
  • Be a resource person for site quality improvement plans.

Profile

  • B.Sc. degree with Chemistry as a subject
  • +4 Years of Experience in a similar working environment
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English
  • Team working and team development skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience working in an ISO environment is an added advantage
