Prequalification of Construction Contractors (EOI/SNA/SL/2024/001)
Project Overview:
- Solidaridad Network Asia is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from eligible Sri Lankan civil works contractors for the construction of small infrastructure facilities at selected tourism sites in the Uva Province, Sri Lanka. This project is part of the European Union-funded Developing Resources and Empowering Communities (DeREC) Project.
Project Background:
- Solidaridad Network Asia works to promote sustainable and inclusive businesses in Sri Lanka's tourism sector. We are currently implementing a project in the Uva Province to develop communities and facilities, enhancing the province's attractiveness for nature and community-based tourism. As part of this project, we aim to construct small infrastructure facilities to better serve visitors, tourism service providers, and local communities.
Invitation to Apply:
- Solidaridad invites eligible Sri Lankan civil works contractors to submit an EOI for the civil works activities detailed in the Terms of Reference (TOR), available at here.
Pre-qualification Process:
- The EOI process aims to identify interested and qualified contractors who will be shortlisted for the upcoming tender for this tourism infrastructure facilities construction project.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Only Sri Lankan civil works contractors are eligible to apply.
- Contractors must possess expertise and skills to conduct civil works meeting C7 or above CIDA registration criteria.
