Noratel will continue growing towards its ambition of becoming the leading global player in the Transformer and Inductive Component Industry and is looking for competent persons for the positions of;
Job Specification:
- ACCOUNTANT
- Preparation of Monthly management reports/Statutory Financial Statements
- Handle Income Tax, SVAT & VAT
- Managing annual budget & forecasts
Requirements:
- Full professional qualification from a recognized accounting body (CA/ACCA/CIMA).
- A degree from a recognized university would be an added advantage
- Knowledge on Income Tax, VAT, SVAT, WHT
- Sound Knowledge of IFRS/SLFRS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both in Sinhala & English)
- Previous exposure to an ERP system would be an added advantage and proficiency in MS Office is required
- A professional with high integrity, leadership skills, possess strong team spirit with analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work under minimum supervision
- Possess a minimum of 2 years' of work experience in a similar position or 3 years as an Assistant Accountant
- Prior exposure to a manufacturing environment/BOI enterprise would be an added advantage Age below 35
