Job Title: Manager / Assistant General Manager - Freight Forwarding

Role Description:

  • Full-time role for a Manager / Assistant General Manager - Freight Forwarding.
  • Responsible for day-to-day operation and overall management of the freight forwarding department.
  • Tasks include overseeing logistics, managing customer relationships, coordinating shipments, negotiating competitive prices/signing contracts with carriers, overseas agents and other 3rd party service providers, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading a team of employees.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in the freight forwarding industry, including logistics management and shipment coordination.
  • Over 5 years' experience in the industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and compliances.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Professional qualification in logistics and freight forwarding would be an added advantage.
