Job Title: Manager / Assistant General Manager - Freight Forwarding
Role Description:
- Full-time role for a Manager / Assistant General Manager - Freight Forwarding.
- Responsible for day-to-day operation and overall management of the freight forwarding department.
- Tasks include overseeing logistics, managing customer relationships, coordinating shipments, negotiating competitive prices/signing contracts with carriers, overseas agents and other 3rd party service providers, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading a team of employees.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in the freight forwarding industry, including logistics management and shipment coordination.
- Over 5 years' experience in the industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and compliances.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Professional qualification in logistics and freight forwarding would be an added advantage.
