We are one of the largest fleet-owning companies providing transportation service for 18 years to many corporates in various business segments. We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated team player to be part of the operation team to plan and monitor the vehicle fleet. The position will be based in Kaduwela.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the customers and assign delivery orders to vehicles
Skills:
- Monitor fleet movement through GPS and coordinate with drivers and customers
- Plan and schedule deliveries through Transport Management System (TMS) and maintain the accuracy of delivery information in the system
- Monitor refueling of the vehicle fleet and maintain fuel records up-to-date
- Follow up on customer orders, and fleet status and update customers accordingly
- Manage vehicle fleet as well as driver and driver assistant pool for a smooth transport operation
- Build sound and healthy relationships with clients and ensure zero customer complains
- Excellent skills in MS Excel
- Excellent communication skills and building a good working relationship and culture with drivers and driver assistants
- Ability to communicate in English including E-mail
- Preferably age below 40
