Analyst - Corporate Finance
Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining complex financial models to analyze and forecast the company's financial performance. This includes forecasting and valuation models.
- Conducting thorough financial analysis to assess the company's health, performance, and trends.
- Evaluating investment opportunities and performing cost-benefit analyses.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for investors and external stakeholders.
- Conducting due diligence for potential transactions involves investigating and analyzing financial and operational aspects of target companies.
- Performing ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support strategic decision-making by the executive team.
- Conducting background research independently on specific industries and companies Liaising with shareholders and potential investors.
Education/Experience and Skill Requirement
- Over two years of relevant experience, preferably in Investment Research or Corporate Finance.
- A degree in business/accounting or a completed professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or CA Sri Lanka.
- A highly analytical mind, with strong attention to detail.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
