Procurement Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:

  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure smooth operation of commercial issues.
  • Work with team members and project managers to develop future purchasing plans.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing.
  • Enter purchase orders in the ERP System.
  • Review quality of purchased products with QAQC team and finalize relevant documentation.
  • Send RFQs and evaluate potential vendors and price comparison.
  • Assist in the procurement of material required for projects.
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products delivery information and invoices.
  • Coordinate with storekeepers to ensure proper storage.
  • Ensure that all purchase requisitions are attended to without delay.
  • Travel to project sites as required.

Candidate Profile:

  • Relevant Degree or equivalent professional qualification with Engineering background.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in similar capacity.
  • Flexible working hours and ability to manage responsibilities independently.
  • Excellent command of the English language (oral and written) and ability to negotiate.
  • Experience in purchasing material for engineering projects would be a distinct advantage.
  • A professional qualification in Purchasing Management from a recognized institute would be an added advantage.
