Accountant
Leader Group - Horana Factory
Leader Group, a prominent player in the manufacturing and distribution industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role requires a deep understanding of taxation, statutory compliances, and financial processes related to manufacturing and distribution sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting transactions and documentation.
- Prepare budget forecasts and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with the law, company's financial policies, and statutory regulations.
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure proper adherence to all financial regulations.
- Oversee regular audits and recommend corrective financial action plans.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing and distribution sectors.
- Strong expertise in taxation and statutory compliances.
- Fully or partly qualified in CIMA, CA, or holding a relevant degree in finance or accounting.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
