ACCOUNTANT

CANDIDATES PROFILE
- Age Below 35 Years
- Part full qualified in CA/CIMA/ACCA or Degree from a recognized university in Accounting & Finance.
- Possess minimum of 3-4 years of working experience for preparing accounts in Manufacturing Company.
- Must have Computer Literacy & experience with accounting packages (Quick book) and the knowledge of excel/word will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in Preparing Company Tax, VAT, SVAT & RAMIS (IRD online system) will be an added Advantage.
- Ability to priorities the task to meet deadlines and ability to work with minimum supervision and training.
- Should have a good command of English.
- Candidates residing in Bandaragama area will be given preference.
BASIC JOB ROLE
Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.)
Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required
Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement (GST/WHT/CIT/...), audits, procedures and forms both statutory and internal
Assist in new processes and system implementation when required
