ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and submission of financial statements monthly, quarterly, annually.
- Processing of payments to vendors, constructors and statutory bodies.
- Preparation of bank facility utilization updates and carryout bank reconciliation.
- Preparation of budgets, periodical utilization reports and working capital management report.
- Reconciliation of accounts payable & receivable.
- Preparation of debtors/creditors reports for weekly follow-ups.
- Provide necessary support for making all kinds of insurance payments and obtaining claims.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance stream completed at recognized University or Institute.
- Completed Professional Level of ICASL or Strategic Level of CIMA.
- Overall 05 years of commercial experience in Accounting & Finance functions of which 02 Years in similar capacity preferably in Construction, Manufacturing Industry segments.
- Have thorough knowledge on Financial Accounting Principles, Standards, Taxation, Auditing.
- Hands on experience in Tally & other Accounting applications with high proficiency in MS Office Package.
- Should be a good team player with excellent interpersonal skills, strong set of values and leadership qualities.
- Attention to details, Problem Solving, Analytical mindset and resilient under pressure with minimum supervision. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Sinhala & English.
