DIRECTOR - SALES

Sumathi Information Technologies (Private) Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of Sumathi Holdings and commenced business in the arena of computer networking & data communication in 2001 offering total ICT solutions under one roof.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales to lead our sales team in driving revenue growth for our IT networking infrastructure solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and company objectives in the IT networking infrastructure sector.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to drive performance and exceed sales goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development and sales strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product management, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and KPIs to monitor and evaluate sales performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 8-10 years in sales leadership roles within the IT industry, with a focus on networking infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong understanding of networking technologies, products, and services, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams, driving revenue growth, and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with business objectives.
