JOB PROFILE

The job is place in a Managerial position and the selected candidate would be responsible for aligning the business objectives with the people strategy and is expected to make a significant contribution to strategy discussions, execute strategy, recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives. The candidate should be a conduit between the HR expert centre and the business line to manage people challenges - especially talent, performance and change. S/he will provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, manpower planning and successions planning. The ideal candidate will also manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and work closely with the Group Chief People and Corporate Communications Officer to analyze, develop and implement solutions, programmes and policies. S/he will be based at the company's manufacturing facility located at Flinth Commercial Park, Kadawatha

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR/PQHRM/MSc or MBA in HR
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a managerial role
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a manufacturing industry will be added advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough numerical skills to handle business complexities
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, analytical and creative thinking skills
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret and apply the appropriate sections of applicable labour laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances and policies
  • Work experience in the pharmaceutical industry will be an added advantage
