Position for Assistant Accountant (Colombo office)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Accountant and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks
- Create daily reports for management and team members
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Managing accounts payable and receivable operations
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Inventory management & monthly expenses analysis
Qualifications Required:
- Should have Minimum 1 year experience in a similar capacity
- AAT fully qualified or part qualification in finance recognized accounting body (CIMA/ICASL/ACCA)
- Having an Audit firm experience would be an added advantage
- Proficiency in Ms office application and any accounting package
- Possess good communication skills in English and Sinhala both Written & spoken
- Good reporting & analytical skills
- An ability to multitask and meet assigned working deadlines
