WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Liaise with the PDC department during the sample development process.
- Confirm customer pricing targets.
- Identify new technology requirements.
- Re-engineering of all knit casual/ Intimates product range.
- Woven school wear products which suit the production in order to facilitate the manufacturing process.
- Co-ordinate the pre-production process.
- The pilot-production run for new styles and provide advice / guidance in terms of technical and work methods in order to ensure a smooth flow of production in the bulk run.
- Innovation and invention.
- Prepare and maintain all accurate thread consumptions based on thread matrix for all clients.
- Conduct all style meeting relevant to the pre engineering process.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Degree/Diploma in textiles or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- Work experience of minimum 2-5 years in the relevant field.
- Exposure in Lean Manufacturing & 5S will be an added advantage.
