JOB TITLE: FIELD OFFICER
Lanka Spice (Pvt) Limited, brand owners of the renowned brand "Mc Currie" has been a leader for over 39 years, producing authentic Sri Lankan products. The company's product range consists of whole, powdered, and blended spices along with ready-to-eat jar products. The company is in search of a young dynamic, results-oriented candidate to fill the above position at our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field visit & identify farmers with potential to supply required crops with required quantity
- Develop a farmer network to supply their crops to Lanka Spice Limited Regular field visit to ensure harvested crop diversion to LSL
- Maintain high quality data related to farmers, crops
- Organize farmer education program on post-harvest best practices
- Keep farming community up to date with latest and innovative knowledge and farming techniques to increase the efficiency of agriculture produce
- Play a role of a bridge between farmers and scientific and research institute and buyers
Qualification and Skills:
- B.S.C Agriculture degree from a recognized University
- Fluency in Sinhala, English & Tamil
- Good knowledge in MS Office package
- 3-5 years' experience in similar position in a reputed private or public sector organization
- Candidate residing in central province, would be an added advantage, though it is not essential
