The Role...
- Interpretation of financial and operational performance and advice management.
- Prepare annual budgets, including departmental budgets for submission to the management.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, quarterly financial statements and annual financial statements complying with accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly statutory payments and submit tax returns.
- Investment of surplus funds in accordance with Investment policy.
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors for timely completion of audits.
- Follow up trade receivables.
- Monitor Internal control systems and update SOPs.
The Person...
- Past finalists/ full qualification in CA Sri Lanka/ CIMA and sound knowledge in accounting standards, policies and practices.
- At least 2 years' experience in reputed audit firm. Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in similar capacity. Have strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of taxation.
- Hands on experience in Microsoft office package. Hands on experience in an ERP environment.
