TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR & FACILITY EXECUTIVE
AS THE TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR & FACILITY EXECUTIVE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Analyzing parameter readings and making necessary adjustments to maintain all operating parameters within desired limits
- Assisting in the safe and effective shutdown and start-up of plant(s) according to standard procedures
- Assisting the plant manager in preparing work orders and following up on maintenance work completion
- Performing minor day-to-day maintenance and housekeeping duties
- Performing miscellaneous duties when required
- Maintaining CEA compliance
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD:
- Hold a diploma or higher qualification in facilities management from a recognized institution as well as a National Certificate in Technology
- Possess two to three years of experience in plant operations and facilities management (experience as a civil supervisor would be an added advantage)
- Have chemical treatment plant experience or knowledge (an added advantage)
- Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exhibit a basic understanding of building systems and maintenance practices
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office (familiarity with facilities management software is a plus)
- Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD (highly preferred)
- Have the ability to work in a multicultural team environment and contribute to collaborative projects
- Exhibit verbal and written fluency in English (knowledge of Sinhala or Tamil would be an advantage)
