We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our team at KSPA Packaging Private Limited. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the procurement department in sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating materials and services essential for our manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organizational skills and a passion for contributing to the success of a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Job Profile:

  • Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers for materials, equipment, and services required for production.
  • Review purchase requisitions and prepare purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, prices, and inventory levels using procurement software.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in implementing inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.
  • Assist in negotiating pricing and contracts with suppliers to obtain the best value for the company.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as production, logistics, and finance to ensure procurement needs are met efficiently.
  • Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and best practices in procurement to identify opportunities for improvement.

Person Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate contracts effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using procurement software or ERP systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations, compliance standards, and ethical practices.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs and industry trends.
