KSPA Consultant - Injection Moulding (Location; Nawagamuwa - Ranala)

Join our company as a Consultant - Injection Moulding and take charge of developing potential industries, markets, and customer groups for our non-hanger injection molding solutions. You will be instrumental in crafting injection molded products that cater to export-oriented industries, utilizing a wide range of materials from commodity plastics to engineering plastics. This role offers the opportunity to spearhead innovation and drive growth in our accessories manufacturing company.
Job Profile:
- Conducting market analysis to identify potential industries, markets, and customer segments.
- Developing injection molded products using both commodity plastics (PP, PS, etc.) and engineering plastics (ABS, nylon, polycarbonate, glass fiber, etc.).
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure product feasibility and alignment with market demands.
- Providing technical guidance and support to enhance product design and manufacturing processes.
- Evaluating and optimizing manufacturing methods to improve efficiency and product quality.
Person Profile:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in injection moulding, with a minimum of 10 years in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of both commodity and engineering plastics, including material properties, processing techniques, and applications.
- Demonstrated ability to identify market opportunities and develop tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to driving results.
