We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Assistant Production Manager to join our Paper Mills team. If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for production optimization, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Job Summary:

As an Assistant Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and adhering to sustainability standards. Your responsibilities will include:

Job Profile:

  • Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
  • Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of chemical manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain the highest standards in product quality.
  • Promote a culture of safety by identifying and mitigating potential hazards in chemical processes and equipment.
  • Ensure that all chemical processes and products comply with environmental regulations and sustainability goals.
  • Lead and participate in process improvement projects, from concept to completion, including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Collect and analyze data related to chemical processes, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain comprehensive records, including process manuals, equipment manuals, and engineering drawings.

Person Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in chemical and process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS), familiarity with chemical process control systems, and strong knowledge of process safety.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address complex process challenges.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PE license) are a plus.

  • A genuine passion for chemical engineering and a desire to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
