We are a leading Tea Export Company in Sri Lanka in business for over 35 years and market our own Branded Teas in over 50 countries, spanning all continents. We also offer a total tea solution to International Clients by packing private label brands and supplying tea in bulk. We are an ISO 22000, HACCP and GMP certified Company. We are looking for a competent, passionate, and skilled professional to join our Finance team as an Accountant.
Main Duties and responsibilities;
- Prepare financial reports and recommendations for senior management
- Successfully conduct audits in collaboration with auditors and implement appropriate financial discipline
- Manage daily Cash flow position of the company & maintain required records
- Correspond with the Banks on a daily basis for transactions and funding facility requirements
- Prepare Annual Budgets and conduct review sessions
- Advise on investment activities at a strategic level
- Develop trends and projections for the company's finances
- Train, guide and lead the Finance Team in the best interest of the company
- Ensure continuous process improvements and effective cost management
Requirements;
- Professional membership preferably from ICA or a similar qualification from any other recognized accounting body
- Minimum 05 years of post-qualifying experience in the field of finance in a similar capacity
- Degree or a Post Graduate qualification in the field of finance from a recognized university would be an added advantage
- Perfect command of written and spoken English
- Age around 30 years
- Fully conversant with the functionality of ERP
- Skillful professionals with an ability to work under pressure and meet timelines with minimum supervision
- Close proximity to the Wattala/Kandana area would be an added advantage
