We now wish to recruit a high calibre individual to join Sri Lanka's leading international brand for the following position.
Physiotherapist
As a Physiotherapist, you will play a pivotal role in improving the quality of life for children with different abilities. You will work alongside a team of dedicated therapists and work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide multi-sensory and holistic care as well as innovative therapies at our Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy and other Development Disorders located in Rajagiriya.
Responsibilities
Provide expert physiotherapy services to children with different abilities.
Develop, monitor and review individualized programmes along with the Multi-Disciplinary Team.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and medical staff and the special education teachers
Stay up to date with the latest research and best practices in pediatric physiotherapy. and rehabilitation
Educate parents and caregivers on home-based programs and strategies to support the child's development. Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and progress.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall development of the therapy services
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy
SLMC & SLSP registrations as a physiotherapist
Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in pediatric physiotherapy.
Dedication to staying current with best evidence-based practices in pediatric rehabilitation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Passion for enhancing the quality of life for children with special needs
Tamil Language skill would be an added advantage
