Role Summary

We are looking for a young and dynamic individual to join our Sri Lankan Shared Service Centre as an "AutoCAD Draughtsman".
Role Description
- Prepare and review detailed drawings utilizing knowledge of composite, engineering practices, and mathematics to complete drawings.
- Apply company design guidelines and standards with respect to products.
- Produce custom changes for size-specific drawing sets from existing master drawing to comply with product development and graphic team requests.
- Provide additional relevant production documentation required for production.
- Aid in the development of new master drawing database production documents.
- Review drawings for compliance with production documents, note any differences encountered, confer with others regarding revisions, and revise documents or provide additional clarifying information as required.
- Revise existing production drawings.
- Prepare and document weekly work schedule - individual.
- Review marketing collateral for accuracy and completeness versus engineering plans.
- Assist with special projects as requested and perform additional duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Technical qualification related to Mechanical engineering/Design/Draughtsman.
- 5+ years of professional experience working in a draughtsman/technical role with a focus on production drawings.
- Ability to read and create CAD drawings and engineering drawings.
- Proficient using AutoCAD (required), MS Excel, and SolidWorks (preferred).
- Understanding of composite construction methods and techniques.
- Highly organized, understands prioritization, detail-oriented and possesses the flexibility to adjust to a regularly changing workload volume.
