POSITION: CHEMIST - QUALITY ASSURANCE AND QUALITY CONTROL DEPARTMENT
RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Raw material Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of raw materials to ensure they meet quality specifications and standards.
- Product Testing: Performing quality tests on cement product at various stages of production to guarantee compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
- Process Monitoring: Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data from quality tests, providing insights to improve production processes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all quality-related activities and test results.
- Collaboration: work closely with production teams to address quality concern and implement corrective actions.
QUALIFICATIONS.
- BSc degree in Chemistry specialized / Material Science or equivalent.
- MSc degree in Chemistry specialized / Material Science or equivalent would be added advantage.
- Knowledge in ISO 9001, 14001 and 17025 standards and SLS product certification process
- Previous experience in a quality control or assurance role within the cement industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of industry standards and testing methods
