World Vision has been in Sri Lanka since 1977 and currently serves in 28 locations in 13 Districts across the country through development programs. In 2020 we directly impacted the lives of nearly 100,000 most vulnerable children and their families.
Location: Welikanda (Polonnaruwa District)
Mihikatha Lanka is a 4-year project planned to be implemented by World Vision Lanka with financial contribution from the Government of Canada through Government Affairs of Canada (GAC). The aim of the project is to address climate change impacts on vulnerable communities and women in the Dry Zone of Sri Lanka through an integrated approach to food systems. This position is responsible for the delivery and execution of the project sourcing process on all requisitions for goods and services across all assigned categories and to ensure general purchases and supplier relationships are implemented in line with WVL Procurement Policies.
