POST OF FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
Applications are invited immediately from motivated & energetic individuals for a well-established Wholesale & Retail business based in Samoa - a country in the pacific region.
Requirements:
- Part-Qualified (above intermediary level) in CASL/ACCA
- Highly competent in technicalities of Financial Accounting
- 2-3 years' experience in an Audit Firm involved in finalization of Accounts
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in consolidating, finalizing monthly accounts at a commercial business ideally in a Retail Trading/Manufacturing entity
- Expert working knowledge in Sage 300/ACCPAC is a distinctive advantage
- Higher literacy in IT - Advance XL & other MS-Office
- Aged around 35
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, Administer & Maintain the Company GL. That includes periodical reconciliations & updating key accounts in the areas of Revenues, Bank, Debtors / Creditors, Advances / Pre-payments etc.
- Take total responsibility of Inventory Controls supervision
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register & update Depreciation schedule
- Perform month-end closure processes systematically & in timely manner assuring accuracy of the TB being generated
- Produce monthly Financial Reporting pack on time
- Support Management Accounting Reports with due analysis & accurate financial accounting information
Salary: USD 1500-USD 1700 (Based on Experience)
