WISLAN Group of Companies is a leading manufacturer of Woven fabric using some of the latest power looms in the industry and ladies fashion garments with their own flagship label distributed island-wide. The factory and their Head Office are located in Kandy. With their expansion plans, the management envisages to strengthen their team with experienced members. Following vacancies are available for immediate filling.
Production Manager
- Overall management of the production process from planning to timely output
- Managing the teams and the resources efficiently with greater productivity
- Managing costs and increasing revenues as per the business objectives
Candidate should ideally have a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in a similar role
Production Planner (Apparel)
- Developing & monitoring production schedules and processes
- Efficient manpower deployment and machinery layout.
- Scheduling work shifts and material supplies
- Monitoring material supplies
- Preparing and presenting performance reports
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Production Planner
- Knowledge of quality control principles with mathematical and computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Pattern Maker
- Compute dimensions of patterns according to sizes, considering stretching of material
- Examine sketches, sample articles and design specifications to determine quantities, shapes, and sizes of pattern parts and to determine the amount of material or fabric required to make a product
- Should have the capability to plot the marker
- Ability to work with CAD system
Should have minimum 2-year experience in casual wear
