VACANCY
ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Accountant who will be responsible for Accounting & Finance and also to support to head of Finance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Part Qualified of the ICAS, CIMA, or ACCA or Fully Qualified in AAT
- Candidate must have a minimum two years of experience in a similar capacity
- Strong decision making and problem solving ability to deliver under challenging environment/tight deadlines with excellent analytical skills, business acumen, ability to demonstrate positive attitude, drive and initiation.
- Exceptional management skills including people management, organization and planning budgeting, capacity planning & maximizing operational efficiency of the department.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Must be confident with Microsoft excel.
- Exposure in working any ERP system would be an added advantage.
- Age Below 45
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records of the organization's transactions, expenses, revenues, and other financial activities.
- Bookkeeping: Recording daily financial transactions, such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments in the accounting system.
- General Ledger Management: Managing the general ledger, which involves organizing and summarizing financial data into various accounts for easy reference and reporting.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing financial statements like balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and profit and loss statements to provide a clear overview of the organization's financial performance.
- Tax Compliance: Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations by preparing and submitting tax returns and related documents to tax authorities.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborating with management to create budgets and financial forecasts, tracking actual performance against budgeted figures.
- Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement or cost-saving measures.
