Senior Executive - Commercial
Join our dynamic team in the electronics manufacturing industry. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Senior Executive - Commercial. This position involves critical responsibilities in procurement and supply chain management, ensuring the efficient acquisition of materials and supplies essential for our production processes.
JOB ROLE
- Oversee the purchase of project-related equipment, materials, and consumables.
- Procure non-product-related materials, including welfare items and furniture.
- Ensure timely supply of locally sourced raw and packing materials for refrigerator production.
- Manage and advocate for stock levels and material planning for raw and packing materials.
- Develop and implement plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies.
- Follow and enforce company procurement policies and procedures.
- Review, compare & analyze products and services to be purchased.
- Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records.
- Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, and product ranges.
- Foster and maintain good supplier relations and negotiate contracts.
- Research and evaluate prospective suppliers.
- Maintain records of deliveries, purchase orders, payments, and supplier information.
- Oversee supplier selection, evaluation, and vendor creation processes.
IDEAL PROFILE
- A degree in Procurement, Logistics, Finance, or Supply Chain Management from a recognized university or institute.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in handling procurement and imports-related work within a reputed manufacturing organization. Exposure to the electronic goods industry is a distinct advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and professional email etiquette. Strong multi-tasking abilities and capacity to meet expected timelines. Team player with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels. Age below 30 years.
