SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE (MALE/FEMALE)

Role Description:

  • This is a full-time Office & Field (Retail and modern trade) role for a Senior Sales Executive. The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as managing the existing supermarkets and retail partner stores, managing the in-store beauty consultants, maintaining the current sales turnover and achieving quarterly targets set out.
  • The individual will need to have a strong personal and sales background to make sure we actively identify and target new retailers, conduct sales meetings, negotiate contracts, and maintain good relationships with the modern trade and fashion retail chains. The role will also involve collaborating with internal teams to develop sales strategies, staying updated on industry trends, and providing feedback to improve sales performance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrating and presenting products to potential customers/clients which include beauticians, pharmacies, salons, Supermarkets, Fashion outlets & Cosmetic retail stores.
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. Provide feedback to senior management on market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs.
  • Ability to manage a team of beauty advisors & monitor daily sales turnover in the respective outlets.
  • Set up and maintain product displays, ensuring they are visually appealing, well-organized, and in line with current trends.
  • Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

Candidate Profile:

  • Completion of G.C.E A/L or having a Diploma.
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a Cosmetics/Dermatology related industry.
  • Should have a proven track record in sales, preferably in channel sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Should be able to travel extensively.
  • Ability to communicate in both English and Sinhala and fluency in Tamil will be advantages.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Should have a motor bike.
