IT Infrastructure Manager
This position is available in Colombo International Container Terminals located in the Port of Colombo and is in search for talented, highly skilled professionals to apply.
The Role
- Responsible for the design, innovate, implementation, and maintenance of CICT IT landscape
- Thorough understanding in Automation, RPO, IOT, Blockchain, etc.
- Leading a team of skilled IT professionals to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and project execution
- Developing and executing strategic plans to enhance and optimize CICT IT infrastructure
- RFP preparation for tenders and projects, Technical Evaluation, Coordinating Installations, configurations, and upgrades
- Implementing and enforcing Cyber security measures
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support various technology-driven initiatives
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements, system optimization, and cost optimization within the infrastructure domain
- Overseeing disaster recovery planning and business continuity efforts
- Evaluating emerging technologies and making recommendations
- Oversee external data links to ensure 100% uptime
- Hands-on knowledge in system design, modern coding technologies, IOT interfacing, Blockchain, etc.
The Person
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science + Telecommunication, Information Technology, or related field
- Professional qualifications in CCNA/CCNP/VMWARE Administration and/or Microsoft AZ-800
- Proven experience 2 years in managing IT infrastructure
- In-depth knowledge of networking, SD-WAN, cloud technologies, virtualization, and storage systems
- Strong understanding of security protocols, ISO 27001 requirements, data protection, and disaster recovery strategies
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and project management methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
