pioneered in importing, processing, and re-export of Pink Rock Salt is looking for a dynamic individual as their "Assistant Manager Factory Operation," to manage day-to-day operations of its factory located at Sedawatta - Colombo.
Role:
- Managing day-to-day factory operations
- Implementation, control, and maintain of quality standards
- Quality control
- Execution of set production plans
- Labour handling
- Factory related procurement and logistics
- Reporting
- Factory Administration work
Ensure the facility meets requirements, exceeds quality targets to ensure production and delivery standards are met. 3 to 5 years of experience in the food processing industry. Experience in Research and Development in relevant products. Knowledge of Operational management systems, processes, and best practices including formulating strategies to improve performances, procuring material needs, resource planning, and security compliance. Market intelligence to understand competitive strategies. Strong mindset and able to work under pressure. To command and communicate in both Sinhala and English Languages. Good communication skills with the ability to learn. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Excellent Teamwork and leadership skills. Previous work experience in ISO 9001, 14001, 14001, 45001 will be an added advantage. Preference given to candidates who live close to Colombo.
