ASSISTANT MANAGER- SALES TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify sales training and development needs across the organization.
- Design, coordinate, and deliver training programmes for sales teams.
- Develop training materials, presentations, guides, and other learning resources.
- Conduct induction and product training programmes for new and existing sales employees.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Sales, HR, and other relevant departments to align training initiatives with business objectives.
- Monitor sales performance and identify competency gaps requiring targeted development.
- Coordinate internal and external trainers and training programmes.
- Maintain training records, reports, and relevant documentation.
- Support the development of sales competencies, career development initiatives, and succession planning.
- Stay updated on industry trends, sales techniques, products, and best practices to enhance training content.
- Prepare regular reports and management updates on sales training and development activities.
Qualifications & Pre-requisites
- Masters Degree/Post Graduate Diploma / Degree/ Special Degree/Professional Qualification or Equivalent related to the functional area from a University/ institute approved by the UGC
- Professional qualification in Training & Development, HR, Sales, or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Executive Grade, preferably in sales training, learning & development, or a similar role.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry will be an advantage.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives.
- Proficiency and experience with digital learning tools will be an advantage.
- Age should be below 45 years.
