CREDIT CONTROL EXECUTIVE
The ideal candidate should
- Age between 30–45 years is preferred
- Part qualified in ICASL, HNDA, or an equivalent qualification in Finance/Accounting.
- 3–5 years’ experience in Credit Control, or Debtor Management.
- Have sound knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Possess strong analytical, evaluation, communication, and negotiation skills with high attention to detail.
- Be proactive, results-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate new and existing customers through document review, market/customer visits, payment history, financial capacity, and credit exposure.
- Assess creditworthiness and credit risk, and recommend appropriate credit limits, terms, and enhancements.
- Monitor aging, debtor days, PDCs, overdue accounts, and risk exposure and take timely corrective action.
- Drive debtor reduction, collections, and recovery of long-outstanding debts.
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and customers on credit, risk, and recovery matters.
- Ensure accurate receipting, system updates, reconciliations, and clearance of unidentified receipts.
- Maintain proper credit records and supporting documentation.
- Support the Credit Controller in credit risk and day to day credit management activities.
