Hayleys Consumer is a subsidiary of Hayleys PLC, which markets and distributes a wide range of world-renowned brands in Sri Lanka. We market brands such as Head & Shoulders, Pantene, Gillette, Olay, Pampers, Sun Up, Whisper, Mabroc & Talawakkelle tea brands, Govi Aruna product etc.

Assistant Manager - Market Strategy and Planning
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement customer and shopper marketing strategies aligned with commercial objectives.
- Lead customer activations, promotional campaigns and in-store visibility initiatives across relevant channels.
- Translate shopper, customer and market insights into actionable growth plans.
- Collaborate with Sales, customers, agencies and other stakeholders to ensure effective execution.
- Manage budgets, monitor programme performance and recommend improvements based on results.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or a related discipline; a postgraduate or professional qualification would be an advantage.
- 5–7 years of experience in customer marketing, shopper marketing, trade marketing or a related role, preferably within FMCG.
- Strong understanding of retail channels, shopper behaviour and customer activation.
- Strong commercial, analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- A strategic and results-driven individual with sound leadership and project-management capabilities.
