TECHNICAL OFFICER (VAVUNIYA BRANCH)

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct accident site inspections, investigate incidents, assess liability and prepare reports.
- Evaluate vehicle repairs, estimates, spare parts, and repair costs.
- Conduct After Repair Inspections (ARI) and motor underwriting inspections.
- Assess total loss, salvage, warranty, and vehicle market value cases.
- Handle third-party claims and coordinate with garages and suppliers.
- Provide technical support to Claims and Regional teams and assist customers with garage/towing coordination.
- Conduct spare parts market surveys, negotiate with suppliers, and support cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with AML, regulatory, and internal requirements.
- Support process improvements, cover-up duties, and other assigned responsibilities.
Qualifications & Pre-requisites
- CGTTL – 5 years / AETI – 6 years / DIMO – 7 years / NAITA – 8 years’ experience, or NCE/NCPT – 10 years’ experience, or an equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and body repairs.
- Insurance/claims experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Valid motorcycle license will be preferred.
- Preference will be given to Tamil-speaking candidates who are residents of the Northern Province.
- Age should be below 35 years.
