We are looking for a hands-on engineering professional to drive safe, efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations.
THE ROLE
- Execute daily production plans and achieve productivity, quality, cost and delivery targets.
- Monitor production processes, machinery performance and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Support product trials, process validation and new product development.
- Lead and develop production teams while maintaining workplace discipline.
- Analyse operational data and drive Lean, 5S, Kaizen and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning and R&D teams.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum two years’ experience in production engineering or a similar role.
- Knowledge of QMS, EMS, CAD and 3D modelling.
- Experience in an ERP-driven environment; SAP exposure is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Below 40 years of age.
- A postgraduate qualification would be an added advantage.
