Job Title
SENIOR EXECUTIVE/ ASSISTANT MANAGER - MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of annual corporate budgets, quarterly rolling forecasts, and operational and financial projections
- Conduct monthly variance analyses comparing actual performance against budgets, providing actionable insights to department heads
- Analyze product profitability, pricing structures, and cost allocations
- Prepare comprehensive management information system (MIS) reports, KPI dashboards, and financial summaries for executive decision-making
- Evaluate project feasibility studies, capital expenditure proposals, and post-implementation ROI
- Monitor operational costs, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and evaluate inventory valuation and waste metrics
Requirement
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management from a recognized university
- CIMA / ACCA passed finalist, or CA Sri Lanka Strategic Level qualified
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in management accounting, budgeting, or business analysis, preferably in Apparel sector
- In-depth understanding of managerial cost accounting techniques, budgeting frameworks, and performance metrics
- Proficient in operating within ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and specialized reporting software
